GGF14 - The Fourteenth Global Grid Forum
June 27-30, 2005
Chicago, IL, USA
Network-Centric Operations Community Session
Organized by: Craig Lee
Tuesday, 10:00a – 11:30a
Network centric operations (NCO) denote a large class of distributed
applications and infrastructure for national security. This includes
the Global Information Grid concept. Designing and deploying such
an infrastructure will require the close coordination of a number
of specific technologies, such as grids, web services, and service-oriented
architectures. Coordination of these technologies will concomitantly
require the close coordination of the industry leaders involved
in network-centric operations. This session will bring together
NCO industry leaders to publicly discuss goals and issues, and provide
an opportunity for further collaborations in this important area.
