Palazzo Biscari

A social dinner for OGF25/EGEEIII-UF will be held on Tuesday, 3 March at Palazzo Biscari at 20:00. Delegates will reach the location on their own, being it at a walking distance from “Le Ciminiere” and from all major hotels in town, through a pleasant journey along the streets of the Catania hystorical center.

Palazzo Biscari is a beautiful and prestigious eighteenth century private residence, belonged to Princes of Biscari and many noble families, their indirect heirs. Delegates will be amazed by the elegant stucco decoration, frescoes and furnishings of the rooms and halls. One of the most important gems of the sicilian Baroque in Catania, the palazzo is now part of the UNESCO heritage.
