OGF28

To the conference site from the Franz-Josef-Strauss Airport (MUC):

- Public Transport from the airport to OGF28:
At the airport, go to the S-Bahn station indicated by a large green S. Buy a ticket at one of the MVV (Muenchner Verkehrsverbund) machines to the center of town ("4 Zonen" or also called "Gesamtnetz" for EUR 9,60). Take S1 or S8 to "Marienplatz". From there, change to U-Bahn (=metro) U6 until stop “Universitaet�. The stop is directly under the building where OGF28 will be hosted and the ticket from the S-Bahn is also valid on the U-Bahn. The entire trip will take approx. 50 min.

- Taxi from the airport to OGF28:
The most convenient way from the airport to OGF28 is by taxi, but be aware that this takes around 30 mins and costs about 45-55 EUR, depending on traffic.

To the conference site from the Muenchen Hauptbahnhof (main railway station):

- Public Transport from Hauptbahnhof to OGF28:
Go to the U-Bahn (=metro) station and buy a ticket for "1 Zone" for EUR 2,40. Take U1 or U2 to "Sendlinger Tor" and switch to U6 in direction "Fröttmaning" or "Garching Forschungszentrum". Get off the subway at "Universitaet"

- Taxi from Hauptbahnhof to OGF28:
Taxis are available on the streets at specific locations. In case you need to call a taxi, we suggest "Isarfunk", call +49-89-450540.

Please note: We have included a public transportation ticket valid on bus, U-Bahn and Metro within the MVV network for the duration of OGF28 in your registration pack. Please check upon picking it up at the registration desk.

The registration desk is located on the first floor of the university building, just follow the signs. It will be opened on Monday starting at 8:00 AM.
