A working session with the objective of building outreach processes to broaden participation in the High Performance Computing Field.

A diverse group of opinions often produces a better result.

Knowing this, this group will discuss strategies, both short and long-term, that will help OGF to identify, obtain and retain and assimilate members of diverse populations into OGF.

This group will discuss:
-Perceived barriers to attracting and retaining diverse populations, as well as ways to mitigate them.
-The adjustments to the current structure to retain and assimilate new members in a "closed" group where work is continually moving forward.
-Provide quality programming that will assist new members understand how OGF “works” and how they may contribute
-Efforts to outreach to organizations and institutions, by participating in their functions on their terms
-The actions required between events to enable us to continue this work
