This session will include a progress report from the SN-CG and a discussion amongst participants to provide feedback on current projects.
The Storage Networking Community Group will present a progress report about their activities and drive a discussion amongst participants to provide feedback on current projects. Amongst the agenda topics, the Storage GME project will be introduced and discussed. In a nutshell, this project will attempt to provide a concrete implementation of a GME-like management system for data storage resources (containers) in a Grid, based on specific user-case scenarios. SN-CG members would be interested in getting feedback from other OGF Data Area participants to understand if such project could complement or contribute to existing or future development work in OGF.
