This first session of the new "Build, Test and Certification Community Group" will focus on "Current practices and short term plans in building and testing Grid middleware and Grid applications".

Here are the topics we will focus on during this session:
- Challenges in building and testing complex Grid software
- Overview of current release procedure, focusing on how current Grid software is being built and tested
- Does automation play a role in current build and test procedures? If yes, what?
- If we had more time and effort to invest, where should we invest it?
- Is there anything our community could do to help improving participants build and test system and procedures?

Agenda:
- Intro (15 mins): presentation of the Community Group, its charter and objectives. State of the art in build and test (ETICS, OMII, NMI, etc) - Marc-Elian Bégin
- Project/products presentations:
- Globus (20 mins) - Charles Bacon
- VDT/Condor (20 mins) - Rebekah Gietzel
- gLite (20 mins) - Laurence Field
- Discussions and conclusions

The session will be structured to allow ample room for questions/answers and discussions
