In March 2006, HP, IBM, Intel and Microsoft published a whitepaper outlining a plan to address our customer's concerns with competing management specifications. This paper included a roadmap for how the work would progress and mentioned several new specifications that may be developed. Subsequent to the publication of the whitepaper, WS-ResourceTransfer has been published and progress has been made on some of the other specifications as a part of the plan. This session will provide a brief overview of the architectural approach for harmonization, highlight the progress made to date as well as provide an overview of future work.
