The purpose of this session is to bring commercial software vendors & developers together to discuss the issues of adopting and implementing OGF specifications. Understanding these issues and driving them into the standards development process are an important part of the process for ultimately delivering software products to end users that represent their requirements. This session will include a brief overview of what OGF specifications exist to-date and a discussion about the adoptability of those specifications. The expected result of this session to identify the highest priority issues that vendors & developers have in adopting and implementing OGF specifications. These issues will be brought forward in the TSC (Technical Steering Committee) Report-Out session (on Wed) in order close the gap on these issues. Software vendors & developers are encouraged to contribute their ideas and suggestions to help make OGF standards practical and cost effective to adopt.
