Rule-based systems will be described that automate application of preservation processes, and automate validation of trustworthiness assessment criteria. A generic open source insfrastructure exists, called iRODS. During the session we will seek collaborations for integrating Grid services into the rule-based environment. The goal is to build infrastructure that can valiate any groups assessment criteria, and that can support its own evolution.

30 minutes - Introduction to rule-based systems. Presentation on current status.
30 minutes - RLG/NARA TRAC trusted repository assessment criteria and the mapping to rule-based systems
30 minutes - Identification of opportunities for integrating grid services into a rule-based management system
