SAGA can make important contribution to interoperability at the Application level, especially given that the SAGA software environment has matured sufficiently, thanks to advances at several levels:
- the SAGA engines (C++ and Java)
- Adaptors for different middleware distribution(s)
- Maturity of the core SAGA specification

This session will survey the status, present the road-map as well as discuss specifically how SAGA contributes to Interoperability.

We propose to present the SAGA software environment to the entire "stack" of Grid users: application developers, middleware specialists and resource
provides.
