Enterprise Grid - Best Practices Workshop (90 mins)

This session is for participants interested in providing input to and working towards the publication of a series of OGF Enterprise Grid Best Practices. The Best Practices workshop is intended as a working session to work through the definition and content on several Best Practice areas with the end result being the publication of Enterprise Best Practice documents by OGF. At OGF20 we are planning to present and review the draft of the first Enterprise Best Practice Document that covers the following topic: "Best Practices to efficiently deploy, manage, and operate my Enterprise Grid infrastructure". Participants will have an opportunity to discuss the draft content and provide input and feedback into the Best Practice draft document. The end result of the session will be an updated Best Practice document that will pre presented for Public Comment via the OGF publishing process. The session will also include additional discussion and prioritization of the next best practice documentation area. Potential candidates for discussion are Best Practices on determining and evaluating suitability of applications for Enterprise Grid deployment, and Best Practices of the integration of the data infrastructure into the Enterprise Grid infrastructure.
