This session will highlight the numerous standards that have been adopted by the open source European Grid Middleware UNICORE 6 that is fundamentally designed for usage in High Performance Computing (HPC) environments. In addition, we will discuss the potential usage of such standards in e-Infrastructures such as DEISA or D-Grid.
