This is a very important message. Please read carefully and follow up.
The Job Submission Interface Model (JSIM) was the first project undertaken by this WG. It was submitted for public comment, but later it was retracted because the DMTF had some comments and proposed changes to the UML and MOF.
These changes are now in place, and the document has re-entered Public Comment.
The purpose of Public Comment is for the GGF to see that there is interest from the community.
Consequently, I am asking that you all go to this web page: http://www.ggf.org/Public_Comment_Docs/Public_Comment_Documents.htm
and download the JSIM document. Then, on that page, click on the link Make Comment and enter some positive comments, along the lines that these developments are good for Grid computing.
As long as you are not a primary author of the document, you can make a comment, and please do so. Tom, Andrea, Viktor, Heidi, Peter, and anyone else, please, please do this. Also, if you know anyone else who would be interested in this, please ask them to comment as well. The more comments we get, the more likely that this document will be approved by the GGF as an informational document.
