Peter,

I'd largly agree with your summary below. The scope of JSDL is much 
narrower than that of JSIM. The only thing that I feel you have 
incorrect is that JSDL could also be used for launching a job from one 
grid entity to another.

As to whether we should develope JSDL in CIM and then map it to XML, I 
can't say I know enough about CIM to say this would be a good or bad 
move. I would however be interested in knowing more about CIM and how it 
would help us with JSDL.
