Well the overall scope of the two groups is different, AFAICS. While
JSDL is about sending a job to the grid, JSIM is about managing a job
inside the grid. Anyway I see that there will be some attributes for
describing a job that overlap in both activities. We should see that
these overlapping attributes should be defined in a compatible way, i.e.
with the same semantics. In so far I see the need of inter-group
communication.
Another side comment: since CIM is a very generic way to modell data
(sort of UML like), it might be worth while to think about moddeling the
JSDL in CIM and then map it to XML. But this is just my 2 cent.
