[sem-grd] Re: GGF11 Semantic Grid Applications Workshop Call for Participation
Hello
The workshop program is available on
http://www.semanticgrid.org/GGF/ggf11semgrdcfp.html
The last workshop was a bit rushed so we've tried to allow ample
time for presentations and discussion as we go.
In previous Semantic Grid events we've made the stage available to
people who wish to speak briefly (no more than 5 minutes!) about
their own Semantic Grid activities. We'd like to extend this
opportunity again this time, so if any of you would like a slot,
please let me know. We can sort this out on the day too. I'm
very keen on this as it's a useful community-building exercise.
We also have one or two demos planned. If anyone else wants to
give a short demo, please let me know.
The adjacent workshop on "Social Factors, Humanities, Arts and
Social Sciences: Old Challenges and New Disciplines for Grid
Computing" finishes at lunchtime and we have extended an invitation
to them to come next door to our first session in the afternoon,
which is on Collaborative Grid (appropriately enough!)
The proceedings are nearly finished and we will sortly circulate a
URL to authors to check them, before putting them on the Web and on
Grid Forge at the beginning of next week ahead of the workshop.
Don't forget the Semantic Grid RG session on Wednesday morning - see
you then!
Thanks
-- Dave
