We've had a number of people sign up this week as a result of an email 
I sent out to the GGF6 SG BOF attendees.  

So, this is intended as a more personal welcome message than the one 
from Majordomo - welcome! :-)

I'm anticipating some more members within 2 weeks as we have a big
e-Science event in the UK and this includes information about this
Research Group.
