[SEM-GRD] towards the primer

The next task for the GGF Semantic Grid Research Group is to produce 
the "Semantic Grid Primer", which will be an informational document.  

The GGF document process is not synchronized with the meetings but it would 
be good to get this document out for people to see before GGF8 (which is in 
late June), so that it can influence discussions there.

I propose that the primer will be manifest as some web pages on the 
www.semanticgrid.org "community portal" as well as the GGF document.  So you 
may prefer to think of this exercise as creating the Semantic Grid Primer 
web site...

Can I start by asking everyone on the list to tell me please what you would 
like to see in the Semantic Grid Primer?  Imagine going to the web site - 
what would *you* expect to see there?

Please reply with your first thoughts, however preliminary they may be!  
Feel free to reply to me personally - I'll send a summary to the list.

In line with our view that Semantic Grid is the application of Semantic Web 
technologies to both grid infrastructure and applications, I would suggest 
that our taregt audience for this first document is the broad spectrum of 
grid developers as represented by the GGF community, i.e. we shouldn't just 
target a subset.  This may be too ambitious - I welcome your views!
